Andrzej Bartosiewicz writes on AZnews about the recent decision of the ICANN Board regarding new Top Level Domain names in the local scripts (Cyrillic and Arabic).ICANN has recently adopted delegations for Top Level Domain Names in Cyrillic and Arabic for Russia, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egipt. Andrzej has been heavily involved in the IDN-TLD approval process, working for many years with ICANN and International Telecommunication Union to speed up this process. Finally, after Board decision, the first domains names are about to be added to the DNS "root" server.
