Together with Neelie Kroes, Vice President of the European Commission, our CEO participates as the Speaker in the Internet Governance Forum, Vilnius, Lithuania, September 2010 Fifth Internet Governance Forum is being graciously hosted by the Government of Lithuania, will be held in Vilnius from 14 to 17 September 2010. The overall theme of the meeting will be IGF 2010 - Developing the Future Together. This theme reflects the open and inclusive nature of the IGF with its multilateral, multi-stakeholder, democratic and transparent approach to discussions of Internet-related public policy issues. The meeting covers the following key aspects:
Due to his in-depth knowledge and experience in the security area, Dr. Andrzej Bartosiewicz has been invited by European Commission to participate together with Mrs Neelie Kroes, Vice President of the European Commission and European Digital Agenda Commissioner, as the Speaker in the Workshop entitled "Priorities for the long term stability of the Internet". Our CEO will present the practices that arise from Yon Consulting involvement in security aspects of an Internet and the Software Development. This workshop is intended to foster an exchange among global experts and partners in the context of the IGF. An open discussion is intended to start by identifying areas which need to be discussed, i.e., to see what priorities (and principles) could be agreed to enhance the long term stability of the Internet. The desired aim is to identify questions and messages that could be forwarded to the technical community, business and policy makers to help focus future work. The focus would not consist in awareness raising, but rather in identifying key issues, what work is being done to address them, any gaps or areas that may not be addressed so far (sufficiently). |
